Quotes and bookings

• Every event is quoted individually. There is no fixed price list, because guest numbers, menu, location and how long we are serving all change the cost.
• Sending the booking form is a request for a quote. It is not a confirmed booking and it does not hold the date.
• A booking exists once we have confirmed it with you in writing.
• Prices quoted are valid for the event and details described in the quote. If the guest numbers, timings or location change, the price may change.

Payment, deposits and cancellations

Payment terms, any deposit, and what happens if a booking is cancelled or moved are set out in the written quote for your event. Please read it — those terms are the ones that apply to you.

If you need to cancel or change a date, tell us as early as you can. The earlier it is, the more likely we can be flexible.

What we need from you on the day

We arrive with a real wood-fired oven that runs at several hundred degrees. To set up safely we need a few things from you, and they are your responsibility to arrange:

• Reasonable vehicle access to the setup area, and somewhere to park while we serve.
• Firm, level ground with clear space around the oven, away from anything that can catch fire and away from low branches or awnings.
• Permission to be there and to cook there. If the venue, building, council or park requires approval, that is yours to obtain.
• Somewhere sensible for guests to gather that is not directly against the oven.
• Someone contactable on the day who can make decisions if something needs changing.

If we arrive and cannot set up safely, we will do everything we reasonably can to find a workable spot. If there genuinely is not one, we cannot cook, and the cancellation terms in your quote apply.

Food, allergies and dietary requirements

Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements when you book, and again if anything changes before the day.

Everything is cooked in one mobile oven and prepared in a shared workspace. Wheat flour, dairy and other allergens are present throughout. We take requests seriously and will do what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee any dish is free of a given allergen, and we cannot rule out cross-contact.

If a guest has an allergy severe enough that cross-contact matters, please tell us plainly so we can talk it through honestly before you book.

Weather and things outside anyone’s control

We cook outdoors. We work in most weather, but there are conditions where operating a wood fire is genuinely unsafe — high wind, a total fire ban, or severe weather among them.

If something outside either party’s reasonable control stops the event going ahead — including fire bans, extreme weather, accident, illness or vehicle breakdown — we will contact you as early as we can and work out either a new date or a fair resolution.

Responsibility

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies the law provides.

Beyond those rights, and to the extent the law allows, our responsibility for a booking is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding what you paid for it, at our option.

A wood-fired oven is hot and it is on your site. Please keep guests, and especially children, a sensible distance from it. We will tell you where that line is when we set up.

Using this website

• The photographs, wording, menu and design on this site belong to us. Please do not copy them for another business.
• Menu descriptions and photographs are a guide. Pizzas are made by hand on the day and will not look identical to a photograph.
• Please do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its booking system.
• We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise it will never be wrong or never be offline.

Photographs and reviews

We sometimes photograph the oven and the food at events for our website and social media. If you would rather we did not take photographs at your event, tell us and we will not.

Reviews shown on this site are from real customers. If you have left one and want it taken down, ask and we will remove it.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts there deal with any dispute.
